Application for Admission to Master of Arts Program In Communication Arts and Innovation (English Program) Special Program (Weekend Program) Semester 2, Academic Year 2025 (3/2025)

National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) is accepting applications for the Master of Arts Program in Communication Arts and Innovation (English Program) Special Program (Weekend Program) for semester 2, academic year 2025. (3/2025)

1. Qualifications of Applicants

1.1 Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any field from an accredited academic institution either in Thailand or another country.

If an applicant has graduated form a university in another country, the applicant must obtain a Letter of Confirmation on Standard Curriculum for Bachelor’s Degree from the Commission on Higher Education, Ministry of Education.  This letter can be obtained by submitting a request along with a copy of a complete transcript directly to the Bureau of Standards and Evaluation at the Commission on Higher Education, Ministry of Education.

1.2 Applicants must be proficient in communicating in English throughout the program. English language proficiency must be attested through official TOEFL or IELTS test scores of at least 550 or 6.5 respectively. TOEFL/IELTS test scores must not be older than 2 years at the time of application. Alternatively test results of NIDA internal language proficiency tests, organized by the Graduate School of Language and Communication, are also accepted (please contact at NIDA Center for Language and Communication Development and Services Tel. 0-2727-3138 – 43, 62, URL:https://lc.nida.ac.th/).      

Exceptions from the need to provide English language proficiency scores are granted only for native English speakers, or applicants that have obtained their bachelor’s degree from international academic institutions where English was the medium of instruction and study. Proper proof is required.

           1.3   Applicants must have at least one year work experience as of December 13, 2025.

           1.4   Applicants must be able to devote sufficient time to their studies and research as

required  by the syllabus.

NIDA reserves the right to examine documents and qualifications of an applicant at any time. If it is found that an applicant does not meet the required qualifications, and acceptance has already been given, the announcement of acceptance shall be cancelled.

The Institute may not offer any of the programs of study as specified in the curriculums in any given semester depending on the number of enrollees and may therefore resume the program in a subsequent semester.

The Institute reserves the right to make adjustments relating to the admission schedule, tuition fees, and programs of study without prior notice.

2. Selection Process

    2.1 Interview Examination

           Applicants will be considered according to the following criteria:

  • Concept, attitude and vision relating to Communication Arts and Innovation
  • Educational background, work experience, and current job responsibilities
  • Intelligence and logical thinking
  • Personality
  • Future career opportunities.

3. Applying at the Institute / Downloading from Website

To download:

i)  Access NIDA’s website and click on title “Application form”.

ii)  Print out the form using white A4 paper only.  Do not change the contents. If any changes are made the application will be cancelled.

iii)  Fill out the form clearly and completely.

4.  Online Application Process

4.1 Applicants access NIDA’s website at https://admission.nida.ac.th/   

4.2 Select the “Login” menu

4.3 Log in with E-Mail to receive OTP code

4.4 Select the “Apply for Admisstion” menu

4.5 Choose the program of interest

4.6 Save applicant information

4.7 Attach application documents

4.8 Submit the application

4.9 Print a bill payment for the application and the payment must be made by December 13, 2025.
at any branches of Bangkok Bank or Counter Service in Thailand.

Note :  1.The application payment is non-refundable.

2.The application is complete when the Institute verifies the applicationdocuments and payment made within the prescribed time.

3. Applicants can monitor application status after the payment has been made for 2 day at https://admission.nida.ac.th/ Payment menu.

5.  Required Documents and Application Fees

     5.2  Writing Examination and Interview Fee 2,000 baht

     5.3  TOEFL or IELTS test scores .

     5.4  Applicants must have at least one year work experience.

     5.5  One copy of an official transcript of undergraduate studies.

           Note: Letters of Confirmation from the University Council should be submitted before the closing date of the application. Only applicants who have been approved by the University Council will be accepted for the examination. 

     5.6 Applicants with a diploma must submit a copy of official transcript of the diploma
(in addition to a copy of official transcript of the bachelor’s degree as mentioned in 5.5)

     5.7 Verification of Employment Recommendation Letter.

     5.8 Education Certificate of the Bureau of Standards and Evaluation at the Commission on Higher Education. Applicants who graduate from a foreign country should contact the Bureau of Standards and Evaluation at the Commission on Higher Education, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.

     5.9 Verification of undergraduate study completion from your institute (for foreign graduates only).  This must be sent directly to:

Note: Applicants must submit all required documents before the interview date or before the first day of classes; otherwise, the application will be considered as incomplete and the application will be void.

     5.10 One-inch photos taken not more than six months prior to application date.

     5.11 One copy of Identification Card.

     5.12 Evidence of any change of name (if applicable).

6. Schedule of Instruction

            Saturday and Sunday, 09.00 AM to 04.00 PM

7.  Announcement of Eligible Applicants for Interview

NIDA will announce the list of applicants for the writing examination and interview on December 17, 2025. The list will also be posted on the website http://gscm.nida.ac.th 

8.  Date for Interview Examination

The Interview Examination will be held on December 20 or 21, 2025,

9.  Interview Examination Results

NIDA will announce a list of applicants who have passed the interview examination on December 25, 2025. The list will also be posted on the website http://gscm.nida.ac.th

10.  Documents for Registering as a Student

Applicants who have been accepted must obtain all documents required for registration on December 30, 2025 – January 5, 2026.  Applicants who fail to obtain all of the required documents will not be admitted to the program.

11.  Study Registration

Registration will be held on December 30, 2025 – January 5, 2026. The applicants must pay the registration fee by the dates specified above.

January 10, 2026

14.  Personal Data Protection

According to Personal Data Protection Act, B.E. 2562 (2019), the Institute shall have to right to collect, use and/or disclose personal data of the selected applicants for the purpose of educational implementation in accordance with duty and authority of the Institute along with personal data protection.
